　　Responsibilities

　　At Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Gilbert Arizona. As part of our Surgical Services team you will provide clinical expertise support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.

　　The Surgery Charge Nurse provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff, directing patient flow, assuring appropriate utilization of resources, and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum:

　　Current AZ State RN License in good standing

　　Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty

　　ADN Diploma BSN or Foreign Equivalent

　　Current American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider card

　　Current ACLS card must be obtained within 6 months of hire

　　Preferred:

　　Charge Nurse experience

　　BSN

　　Previous experience with personal computers

　　Pay Range

　　$42.85 - $63.77 /hour
