　　Job Description:

　　The courier in UF Research is responsible for the delivery and pick-up of documents and packages to and from various offices around campus. Additional duties of the courier include transport of boxes to and from Iron Mountain Storage Facility as needed, providing transportation in a department vehicle for employees and guests, and emptying paper shredders on a daily basis.

　　The Office of Research is the central office for administering contracts, grants, and subcontracts for the entire campus. Time-sensitive documents, letters, and checks are either being mailed to the Office of Research via courier or mailed from the office. It is imperative that the utmost attention is given to the pick-up and delivery of these items at all times. It is extremely important that items placed in the courier box in the mailroom be delivered as addressed and for the time frame requested.

　　Expected Salary:

　　$12.00 per hour

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Applicants must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.

　　This position is part-time Monday through Friday. Must be able to work over holiday breaks.

　　This is not a remote work position, and it is located on the University of Florida main campus in Gainesville, FL.

　　Work Hours Preferred - 2 hours in the am; 2 hours in the pm (ex: 11am-2pm)
