Immediate ophthalmic technician opportunity with one of the largest medical groups in the state of New York. This position offers an opportunity to grow within an expanding company that has over 600 physicians and 40 different medical specialties. This position is looking for a candidate with Ophthalmology experience and knowledge of working with EMR systems.

　　checking patients in

　　rooming patients

　　Assisting the provider with scribing, setting up tools and equipment for the room, sterilizing tools and room, room turnover, patient questionnaire.

　　EMRs

　　Requires a full range of motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Frequent standing, walking and sitting for long periods of time is required. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs. Requires visual acuity and normal color perception.

　　• High School Graduate or equivalent.

　　• Willing to train- but would like 6 months of professional or academic experience.
