  We are actively seeking an exceptional Ophthalmic Assistant (OA), Medical Assistant (MA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and contribute to our commitment to providing top-notch eye care services.

  This role provides a platform for individuals to broaden their expertise and contribute to the excellence of our specialty practice.

  Job Description:

  Part-time, full-time, or per diem positions are available.

  The Work:

  Patient-Centric Approach:

  Conduct interviews to obtain a comprehensive patient history.

  Provide clear and empathetic instructions to patients regarding testing procedures.

  This position presents a unique opportunity for candidates to expand their skill set within a specialty practice including ancillary testing and use of top-of-the-line ophthalmology equipment.

  Clinical Expertise:

  Showcase your clinical skills by performing basic and routine vision screening examinations.

  Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure proficiency in delivering high-quality eye care services.

  Administer eye medications and provide support during minor office procedures.

  Documentation and Care:

  Document care provided testing results, and patient responses with meticulous attention to detail.Practice Maintenance:

  Play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and ophthalmic instruments.

  Ensure supplies are well-stocked to support a smooth workflow.

  You Bring:

  Certifications:

  Certified as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) preferred.

  A Medical Assistant or active Certified Nursing Assistant is also preferred.

  Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification is preferred.

  Experience/skills:

  Clinical experience in healthcare, preferably as an Ophthalmic Assistant, Medical Assistant, or CNA.

  Proficiency in Medical Office Suite.

  Team and patient-oriented with meticulous attention to detail.

  Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
