Position Objective: In this job, the team member will assist in operations of the grain elevator and feed mill while delivering excellent customer service. Grain Elevator Operations: Operational functions of grain receiving, weighing, grading, storage, handling, drying, blending, conditioning and loading out of truck and rail. Monitor stored grain condition to ensure quality and quantity Housekeeping, maintenance and other daily tasks such as cleaning the scale house and grain scale Assist with scheduled bin cleaning throughout the year Feed Production Operations: Assist with custom feed grinding and mixing services Load feed trucks and assist with planning of deliveries Accurately receive and distribute products Assist with Warehouse: loading and unloading trucks, all products rotated by age, kept neat and clean, all paperwork kept up to date and turned in to the office, any other duties required to keep warehouse stocked and operational. Help in loading of bag and bulk feedstock. Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the mill and warehouse. Ability to operate a forklift. Assist customers with retail bag sales and loading Immediately handle customer complaints and report the complaints to the Feed Location Manager. Practice good housekeeping procedures to comply with company and OSHA policies. Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all OSHA state and federal safety regulations Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
