　　Pay Info: Eligible for new hire sign-on bonus! Laboratory Assistant $16.00-23.00; Senior Laboratory Assistant $17.00-23.50; Pathology Technician $22.50-33.00

　　Department Details

　　This position is a 0700-1530 clinic float shift (floating to hospital/ED to help as needed) with an every third weekend obligation. There is a holiday rotation. Weekend hours will be 0600-1430 again every 3rd weekend. . This position can also be a Senior Lab Assistant or Pathology Technician with the same hours listed previously. This position is specimen collection and phlebotomy with minor cleaning duties.

　　Job Summary

　　Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

　　Qualifications

　　High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

　　Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
