　　Responsibilities

　　 Oversee the warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment,

　　promoting teamwork and collaboration

　　 Continuously review and refine warehouse processes and best practices to improve

　　efficiency and productivity

　　 Develop safe working policies, protocols and guidelines, and ensure successful

　　implementation of these including policy sign off and/or training if necessary

　　 Oversee building maintenance activities

　　 Conduct regular inspections of the facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards

　　and risks, and address these promptly and efficiently

　　 Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to investigate accidents, incidents and near-

　　misses, prepare detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions and

　　implement these as and where necessary

　　 Monitor compliance with safety and health regulations and execute corrective actions if

　　necessary

　　 Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks

　　 Provide guidance and support to employees regarding safety issues and concerns

　　 Assist when necessary with the dispatch process, including but not limited to:

　　o Receipt of goods from suppliers and customers

　　o Regular stock checks

　　o Picking of products

　　The essential functions of this role include:

　　working in a smoke free environment

　　wearing steel toe shoes

　　working in a non-temperature controlled environment

　　manual lifting up to 50lbs

　　working up to 12 hrs of overtime per week
