  About the Role :

  As a CBRE Operations Management Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day work of staff supporting multiple lines of business in one or more offices.

  This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating functions and operations that support the organization’s goals and strategies.

  What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the processing of Accounts Payables transactions. This includes vendor invoices and expense reports, operating expense and project budgets, etc.

  • Approve various AP items to ensure proper coding, allocation, and backup.

  • Review monthly AR reports and evaluate the need to elevate collection efforts.

  • Assists manager in preparing Facilities capital and operating expense budgets.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining work procedures and preparing work schedules. Train and guide business staff to ensure a firm grasp of company policies and procedures.

  • Familiarity and understanding of CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems). Helps account manage to establish performance metrics in the area of work order compliance, such as response time, completion time, overall completion percentage, etc. in accordance with account and/or internal metrics.

  • Review data from work order reports and create and present performance and progress status reports to management. Make suggestions on how to improve efficiency.

  • Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.

  • May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.

  What You’ll Need :

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.

  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a master- level inquisitive mindset.

  EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  HS Diploma orequivalent. Minimum of 3+ years of experience.

  Experience in Data Centers or Critical Environments, preferred.

  Understanding of the requirements around Quality, Health and Safety, Data Center Operations or critical facility MOPs and SOPs is a plus.

  CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

  None.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to work effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

  FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

  Requires proficient knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

  REASONING ABILITY

  Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires proficient reasoning and quantitative skills.

  OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

  Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and become proficient in use of company's Learning Management System (LMS). Must work well under pressure with proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope/direction.

  Proficiency in Learning Success Factors, company's Learning Management System (LMS).

  SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

  Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
