  Zurich is currently in the process of expanding our Contingent Workforce & Third-Party Governance team and is seeking an Operations Consultant who will support the program for the United States and Canada while interfacing enterprise wide. This team is structured within Operational Governance & Business Services of the Operations & Technology organization. This role is to work hybrid 2 days a week from our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.

  Responsibilities:

  As an Operations Consultant, you are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Engagement Managers and Contract Owners while supporting the end-to-end third-party governance and Contingent Workforce processes including Statement of Work management.

  Supporting the day-to-day program operational tasks may include:

  The end-to-end requisition process of contingent workers by partnering with the Zurich engagement manager to get a full understanding of position requirements and effectively translating for suppliers.

  Support contingent workers, suppliers, and engagement managers with ongoing maintenance of contingent workers including timesheets, performance discussions with suppliers, contingent worker issues, etc.

  Assist with worker assignment management (cost center changes, extension of contract assignments etc.) to improve data integrity.

  Ensure all SOWs/assignments are closed in the system with accurate finish reasons upon notification of completion.

  Assist and monitor time and expense entry to ensure appropriate approvals occur by engagement managers by required deadlines.

  Create ad hoc and regular reporting through the Beeline vendor management system or the OneTrust third-party governance tool.

  Maintain and update monthly activity and performance reports.

  Provide constant interaction via face to face, email and phone with contract owners, engagement managers, suppliers, contingent workers, and other partners.

  Lead and support projects to address strategic and operational priorities which are cross functional and highly visible.

  Manage program mailboxes to address items raised by contract owners, engagement managers and/or suppliers.

  Apply critical thinking to various contingent workforce and third-party governance processes and projects to support policies, guidelines, and governmental regulations.

  Develop training content and provide ad hoc and ongoing training for contract owners, contingent workforce engagement managers and suppliers.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations areaOR

  High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations areaOR

  Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations areaAND

  Project management experience

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Ability to work independently.

  Experience with a Vendor Management System (e.g., Beeline).

  Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) experience (e.g., MSP, Staffing Supplier, internal CWM program).

  Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization from entry level to senior leaders.

  Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  Change management, process management, and negotiation skills.

  Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate requirements.

  Data analysis, analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills.

  Strong organizational and time management skills.
