  Sr. Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst

  We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Sr. Open Source Intelligence Analyst (OSINT) to join our team in Sterling, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with ManTech International.

  Each day, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) oversees the massive flow of people, capital, and products that enter and depart the United States via air, land, sea, and cyberspace. The volume and complexity of both physical and virtual border crossings require the application of business intelligence support service to promote efficient trade and travel. Further, effective intelligence support and big data solutions help CBP ensure the movement of people, capital, and products is legal, safe, and secure. In response to this challenge, we are seeking a capable, qualified, and versatile OSINT Analyst to facilitate mission critical decisions in response to national security threats.

  The selected individual will be responsible for the application of a full range of analytical knowledge, skills, and abilities in compiling data into finished-draft analyses and reports. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of intelligence techniques and methods and a broad understanding of different people and areas in estimating and forecasting future situations to recommend courses of action. The selected individual may be responsible for leading collections and research projects and to apply facts and estimates derived from numerous sources to a variety of problems having different technical aspects to determine its viability and credibility.

  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  Conduct Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analysis, reporting, and other OSINT products as required by the customer

  Coordinate and collaborate with other intelligence disciplines to produce finished and reliable intelligence products

  Assess and provide recommendations on emerging OSINT methodologies and tools

  Brief senior personnel and officers as needed

  Provide consultation on how to leverage OSINT data and information, use specialized OSINT tools and services, and consult on the development of OSINT products.

  Support the development of new OSINT targeting and exploitation techniques and analyze the development of OSINT policy and tradecraft

  Use advanced OSINT and social media collection and analysis techniques to support information requests concerning force protection, indications and warnings, counter threats, counterintelligence, and all source intelligence integration and assessments

  Required Qualifications / Experience:

  Experience utilizing OSINT tools

  Strong background in commercially available data exploitation

  Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of PAI or social media

  Familiarization using Microsoft Office Suite

  Experience with conducting open source research, all-source intelligence analysis, or targeting

  Experience with accessing, researching, and exploiting global and regional social media and digital platforms

  Knowledge of advanced Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, advanced research techniques, search engine and database resources, and Internet sources, including social media, social networking tools, and commercial and industry-based databases

  Preferred Skills:

  Background conducting analysis focusing on Central and South America and Mexico

  Foreign language capabilities- Spanish, Arabic, MSA, Chinese, Farsi, Pashto, Romanian, Russian, Turkish and Urdu

  Education Requirements:

  HS Diploma/GED and 15+ years

  AS/AA and 13-18 years

  BS/BA and 7-12 years

  MS/MA/MBA and 5-9 years

  PhD/Doctorate and 3-7 years

  Certifications:

  N/AClearance Requirements:

  U.S. Citizenship required

  Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

  Must pass CBP Background Investigation

  Physical Requirements:

  Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the officeFor all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
