　　*This is not a remote position. Candidate will work onsite*

　　What you will do:

　　· Transcribes reports from dictation at an acceptable pace and degree of accuracy.

　　· Maintains open and positive communication with staff, physicians, and other departments.

　　· Presents a positive image to community and professional contacts.

　　· Promotes professionalism with the department, hospital, and community; acts as a role model.

　　· Assures that the dictation is complete and readable, matches the exam ordered, and is not contradictory. Consults the appropriate radiologist for verification.

　　· Transcribes reports in a timely manner according to departmental policy.

　　· Attends hospital and department meetings and inservices.

　　· Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient/personnel information.

　　Qualifications:

　　· High school diploma or GED required.

　　· Medical terminology and anatomy experience.

　　· One-year experience in medical transcription preferred.
