On-Call Art Instructors play a vital role in the Tang teaching Museum’s Educational mission. Responsibilities include facilitating discussions, and leading art-making workshops, facilitating K-12 school tours and site visits in K-12 classrooms, facilitating library programs summer programs, and assisting with Family Saturday programs.

　　On-the-Job Training

　　All On-Call Art Instructors will be trained in facilitation, including Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS). They will be educated about current and upcoming exhibitions and trained to lead hands-on art-making projects.

　　Minimum Requirements

　　The person filling this position should enjoy working with school aged (K-12) children and feel comfortable facilitating discussion and teaching. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children and be open to learning and trying new skills. Email literacy is necessary.
