Shift Details: 1st shift, 40 hrs/week, M-F. Metatarsals required.Work Model: Onsite
Establishes the material flow and movement strategy for the raw material, WIP and complete goods.Ensures that there is optimized material movement that results in increased productivity and efficiency, reduction of inventory levels as well as higher inventory accuracy.Duties: Evaluates current logistics flow through the facility for slow moving vs. fast moving materials.Performs root cause analysis; determines corrective action for appropriate material replenishment and flow throughout the factory.Establishes and monitors line side inventory levels and presentation. Plans material replenishment strategies to support variable build levels and inventory accuracy while minimizing material handling costs.Establishes and creates triggers based on raw material or complete goods replenishment cycles and lead times.Determines correct inventory location for raw materials and complete goods inventory.Plans raw material and In Process storage strategies. Serves as expert for Warehouse Management portion of SAP, determining zones for warehouse locations.Establishes SAP system parameters to drive material to its point of use.Serves as transportation resource to unit operations personnel to assure optimal carrier selection for shipment and delivery and to facilitate compliance with appropriate governmental regulations.Reviews and analyzes freight cost to optimize services and cost and manages all freight loss, product damage, overcharge, trailer and container detention and service related claims in order to minimize costs.

As an OFP Container Analyst, you will identify packaging solutions for purchased parts with consideration of safety, ergonomics, part quality, shipping efficiency, material flow/handling efficiency, and line side presentation for the order fulfilment process (OFP)
Manage, containerize and complete all OFP container workflow in C-projectsMaintain complete and accurate data in SAPCollaborate with engineering, operations, supply management, and custom rack designers/fabricatorsProvide daily support and manage inquiries related to packagingWork with third party suppliers of returnable containers and services to procure custom rackingComplete all container related parameter requestsObtain quotes and procure racking for physical and productions buildsThis position is eligible for a partial remote work arrangement at the present time once training is complete but remains subject to change.
