JOB REQUIREMENTS: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reads and understands jobjackets. Changes press size using cassette system. Performs web pressmake-ready functions at standard allowed times. Oversees mounting ofprinting plates on plate cylinders. Oversees mounting of blankets onblanket and coating cylinders. Obtains printed image as per customerapproved proofs. Obtains die cut shapes as per customer approved proofs.Performs rotary die cutter make-ready and startup. Runs live productionat standard press speeds. Delivers customer acceptable printed and diecut cartons. Delivers customer acceptable printed and rewound rolls.Assures that all procedures are followed (roll tags, pull samples, signoffs, time sheets, stock reporting, maintenance reports, etc). Assistswith smooth shift transition and workflow. Answers pressroom technicalquestions. Assists with scheduling for efficiencies, where appropriate.Brings forward any unresolved issues in a professional manner. EQUIPMENTUSED: Computer/MAC. Photospectrometer.
