JOB SUMMARY
This is a full-time management position within the Office of Court Administration.
This position provides administrative, clerical and managerial assistance to the District Court Administrator as well as the Deputy and Assistant Court Administrators involving organizational planning and development of day to day essential functions.
Serves as the lead office administrator to 3 key support staff members located in Court Adminisration, Bail Administration and Judicial Operations.
While most of this individual's duties will be the fulfillment of assigned tasks and special projects, his/her work must be completed with limited supervision and considerable initiative and independence.
Non-routine, highly responsible, confidential tasks, specified administrative duties and record keeping tasks will be performed in areas involving court administration office policies and procedures. This person will also serve as a liaison to court and court- related offices to include, but not be limited serving as the ADA Coordinator for the Court.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-Must have education equivalent to high school graduate;
-Two years of college with course work in legal or judicial administration or business school preferred;
At least three years of experience related to position with strong aptitude and ability in administrative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.-Experience using the Pa. Magisterial District Judge computer system is preferred but not required.
