POSITION DETAILS
Manage all administrative functions of the Dean’s Office and the SAS Departments to ensure and improve the operational efficiency of office environment. This position reports to Budget Manager. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Office Management Coordinator’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Supervise Dean’s Office front office staff and provide support to all Administrative Assistants with daily responsibilities; coordinates duties of clerical and part time personnel such as office assistants and student aids.
Support Assistant Dean of Operations and the Budget Manager in personnel and finance matters.
Oversee the completion of the hiring packages and coordinate onboarding of adjunct and temporary staff for SAS.
Maintain and Update Administrative Assistant Manual for accuracy under the guidance of the Assistant Dean of Operations.
Assist with property transfer documentation and submission of Property Control Forms to Property Management.
Organize SAS events; and administers special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
OTHER Qualifications
Strong communication skills; excel skills; and excellent organizational skills are essential. Confidentiality and discretion are required. Supervisory and higher education experience and/or 2 years related experience are desirable; and knowledge of university systems is preferred.

Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information.
Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections.
Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities.
Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
May supervise office staff and student workers.
Performs related duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with education and experience ($65,946- $79,726).
