As an Office Furniture Drafter, your responsibilities include meeting with requesters to provide design layouts for up to 25 – office/cubicles/benching workstations. Maintains records of furniture requests which includes existing & proposed layouts. Maintenance and telecom requests. Provide detailed work packets to the OFS installation Supervisors and Coordinator.
Key Qualifications
5+ years’ experience with modular furniture with an emphasis on providing the best possible service in a demanding environment.
Expert knowledge of various modular furniture products.
Auto Cad proficient, very detail oriented.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
The ability to communicate effectively and provide clear and accurate direction.
Manages time efficiently with demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Familiarity with Mac platform and Microsoft Office programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Must work well under pressure.
Description
Update furniture part numbers and descriptions using common nomenclature. Identify, review, and validate all furniture standards buildings. Coordinate with Apple Project Management team on all new furniture installations. Provide technical support to the Furniture Design and Warehouse teams. Build and update furniture product “pull-sheets” and assist the Apple Ergonomics team with all ergonomics furniture part numbers and descriptions to ensure a common nomenclature. Support the Furniture Scheduling Supervisor in receiving and prioritizing furniture work requests for specific requestors. Assist in scheduling and directing the installation activities of multiple vendors. Provide direction to vendors as needed and ensure vendors align with Apple policies and procedures.

The base pay range for this role is between $36.95 and $55.45/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
