　　Job Description:

　　Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

　　Job duties include, but are not limited to:

　　Lead efforts in continuous improvement

　　Work with departments within the company to coordinate all activities within the company and resolve problems that arise during the manufacturing cycle.

　　Analyze the operation of the shift to evaluate the performance and if the staff is meeting objectives.  Takes a pivotal role in determining areas of cost reduction, program improvement and enforcing policies.

　　Help to develop shift budget.

　　Direct and coordinate business activities to ensure production of product at the correct pricing and quantities.

　　Review daily production reports and develop a plan to resolve the issues identified in the report.

　　Direct supervisors to perform work.  Evaluate direct reports and develop corrective action for underperformers.

　　Directs all manufacturing activities

　　Train and develop supervisors and employees

　　Coordinates efficient production schedules

　　Control labor utilization

　　Maintain current operational yields and labor standards

　　Evaluate and recommend improvement in policy and procedure

　　Maintain cordial relations with peers and employees

　　Perform annual supervisor lead evaluations annually, preferably six months before review

　　Coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies

　　Compile manufacturing budgets

　　In the event of their absence, the responsibility is delegated to the Team Leader Production.

　　Work closely with human resources manager in all disciplinary decisions

　　Upgrade technical and management skills as deemed necessary

　　Responsible for food quality, food safety and food defense.

　　SQF Practitioner is responsible for training and implementation of food safety and quality product.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Education : BS degree in Business, manufacturing or related field preferred

　　Experience : Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in a supervisory position

　　Good written and verbal communication skills.

　　Knowledge of Microsoft applications (word, excel, power point)

　　Six Sigma Black Belt

　　Continuous Improvement Certification
