  The Norwich Campus of SUNY Morrisville has been serving the Norwich community and the surrounding areas for more than 46 years, offering students associate degree options such as Criminal Justice, Computer Information Technology, and Nursing. The campus is also used by businesses, not-for-profits and community partners for training, events and videoconferencing.

  Professional Rank and Salary Range: SG-6; $34,152 (annualized salary)

  Duration: Full-time, temporary, 6-month assignment.

  Brief Description of Duties:

  SUNY Morrisville is seeking an Office Assistant I to join our Institutional Advancement team.

  The Office Assistant I will provide clerical and office support work for Institutional Advancement in areas of gift processing, data support, as well as serve as the first point of contact for alumni, donors, and others who call or visit the office.

  Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  Processes and acknowledges all gifts using Banner 9. Liaises with the Morrisville Auxiliary Corporation's accountant to code, record and receipt all gifts and pledges.

  Serves as the entry point for visitors and callers, answering questions when possible and directing inquiries when appropriate. Ensures that all callers and visitors receive excellent customer service whether they are students, alumni, donors, or guests.

  Reviews all invoices to the Foundation and processes them through the SAGE APA system. Works with the submitting department to ensure all processes and procedures are followed.

  Assists the Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations with data entry and verification, compiling weekly gift reports, monthly accounting reports, as well as additional data reporting needs for Institutional Advancement.

  Requirements:

  Minimum Qualifications

  Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Outlook, etc.)

  Excellent customer service skills and experience
