Summary:
The OEM Investigation Manager, Quality Clinic will l ead teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Launch OEM (original equipment manufacturer) Quality Escapes through Product Recall; bound Population of non-conforming material
Perform product, process and work instruction reviews; review and approve FAI’s, Service Masters, Work Instructions
Resolve customer complaints that flow through the Quality Clinic; interface with various Engineering groups to resolve technical/quality issues; lead and participate in various teams in support of the unit’s CORE goals.
Provide technical guidance and training to inspectors; interface with production supervision to help prevent quality work stops; QN creation/documentation through SAP
Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001; Quality Stamp control; Variation control and closure
Be flexible around shifts for training and maintaining workflow to include overtime
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, quality or closely related industrial environment or a Master's degree and minimum 3 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, quality or closely related industrial environment
Experience with obtaining, organizing and analyzing quality data
Demonstrated experience interpreting engineering drawings and f amiliarity with geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience using Microsoft Office products
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred Qualifications:
D emonstrated effective root cause determination skills, Red-X, Fault Tree, etc. Additional Information:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
