The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation and enhance patients' quality of life.Responsibilities:1. Patient Assessment and Treatment:a) Conducting comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' functional abilities and limitations.b) Developing individualized treatment plans to address specific occupational therapy goals.2. Therapy Implementation:a) Administering therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills, strength, and coordination.b) Utilizing adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support patients' independence.3. Progress Monitoring and Documentation:a) Monitoring patients' progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.b) Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and reports.4. Patient Education and Support:a) Educating patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for daily living activities.b) Providing emotional support and encouragement throughout the therapy process.5. Collaboration and Communication:a) Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.b) Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and caregivers regarding patient progress and needs.Requirements:1. Valid New Jersey Licensure as a Occupational Therapist is required.2. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including those set by the New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, Corporate Compliance, PEOSHA, and Priority Group Services Policies and Procedures.3. Proven experience in occupational therapy practice.4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.5.
