Overview

　　Serve as network and computer system administrator for all NAVCENT/C5F/MOC/CMF systems to include but not limited to SIPRNET, NIPRNET, CENTRIXS, BICES, JWICS, DCGS-N, FMV, GCCS-J, LMMT, and other MOC based systems.

　　Conducts on site troubleshooting and maintenance assistance for problems that may cross multiple Navy systems and provides training on those systems.

　　This position requires TS/SCI.

　　Responsibilities

　　Supports U. S. Naval Central Command (NAVCENT) in the Middle Eastern AOR at Naval Support Activity Bahrain by performing installation and configuration of systems to include but not limited to SIPRNET, NIPRNET, CENTRIXS, BICES, JWICS, DCGS-N, FMV, GCCS-J, LMMT, and other MOC based systems.

　　Support network technical duties which will include installation, configuration and upgrade of system hardware and software.

　　Support system administrator duties which will include installation, configuration and upgrade of system hardware and software

　　Perform training on systems after configuration, as required.

　　Support systems located in Bahrain, to include routine systems administration and IA functions (patching, scanning, STIG, etc).

　　Work outside of normal work week hours will be required, to participate in meetings, troubleshooting efforts, and installations or upgrades.

　　Qualifications

　　Education and Certification:

　　BS in Information Technology (or equivalent technical degree) or 5+ years technical experience in related discipline required.

　　Certification as IAT2 (per DoD Inst 8750.1 and Navy guidance) with IA required.

　　Certification in Windows, Unix/Linux and VmWare operating systems desired, and may be required.

　　Experience:

　　Navy or DoD Networks (SIPRNET, NIPRNET, SCI)

　　Troubleshooting network and operating system issues across multiple platforms

　　C4I Systems experience: JWICS, GCCS-J/M, FMV, DCGS-N, CENTRIX/other C2 Systems Administration

　　Clearance Requirement:

　　TS/SCI is required.

　　Skills:

　　Network operations and maintenance with experience in server virtualization and systems administration (Unix and/or Windows) required.

　　Knowledge of fleet communications architectures required.

　　Knowledge of military C2 architectures required.

　　Must be able to communicate well both orally and in writing.

　　Must be able to communicate well with senior Navy/DOD officials and technical personnel.

　　Candidate must be able to provide training as needed.
