  Responsibilities

  The Nursing Supervisor- Patient Flow will be a 24/7 rotating day/night position responsible for patient placement and throughput for all five NWWI Hospitals. The Nursing Supervisor- Patient Flow will provide day to day oversight of the NWWI Command Center, serve as the key contact for the Midwest Admission Transfer Center and liaison for patient placement with key regional stakeholders. This position will work in collaboration with the Eau Claire House Supervisor, medical providers, and operational colleagues to support appropriate patient placement at each NWWI hospital.

  This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Holders of F1 status eligible for post-completion OPT are welcome to apply. This role is NOT eligible to participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.

  Qualifications

  Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing degree program. Masters preferred. Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience required.

  Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal effectiveness required. Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, problem solving, and computer skills required.Current RN license by applicable state requirements.

  License or certification:

  Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Positions that are not on campus may not require current Basic Life Support (BLS) competency as determined by the work area.

  Additional state licensure(s) and/or specialty certification/training as required by the work area.

  Schedule Details

  12 hour rotating day/night shifts. Opportunity for straight nights.

  Weekend Schedule

  Every third weekend and two holidays per year.
