Our critical care nurses are trained on devices such as Intra -Aortic balloon pump, Impella, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy, Hypothermia Management and in advanced hemodynamic monitoring. The team strives to provide the highest quality of care to our patients and families.Common Diagnoses:Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Vascular surgery, Thoracic surgery, Stemi, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac/Respiratory Arrest, DKA, Shock, Gastric bleeding, Stroke, Overdose, Alcohol WithdrawalAhuja Stepdown:The Ahuja SDU is a 16 bed surgical and medical intermediate care floor. We care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs who have downgraded from a critical need but still need close monitoring. The team consists of highly skilled nurses, providers, advanced practice nurses, patient care assistants, and other ancillary staff who are dedicated to caring for patients and families. Our Step Down nurses are trained to care for cardiac patients post procedure, such as, post heart cath, post ablation, and post cath with TR Band. The team strives to provide the highest quality of care to our patients and families.Common Diagnoses:Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Pre/Post heart cath, and Ablations, Vascular surgery, Thoracic surgery, Stemi, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Gastric bleeding, Overdose, and Alcohol WithdrawalPosition Summary:The Nursing Assistant II (NA II) position is a PRN entry level position specifically used for RN nursing students. The position provides hands-on experience to help prepare nursing students for their first RN position. It is designed to build upon the experience gained in the classroom and during clinical rotations.NA IIs work under the direction of an RN to provide safe, efficient, age-specific care to patients and families in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and/or sustain optimal health status. Responsibilities include:1. Direct patient care delivery (includes ADLs, hygiene measures, select treatments, patient/family education, discharge preparation)2.
