What you'll do The Nursing Recruiter will own initiatives and practices to proactively and effectively seek, vet, and hire qualified candidates for nursing positions across the Bassett Healthcare Network (Bassett). The recruiter will complete all phases of recruitment to fill RN, LPN, and CNA/NA vacant positions. Identifying creative recruitment strategies, collaborating with nursing leaders, staff, and Human Resources (HR) team members, understanding the needs of various units and departments, and enhancing processes to ensure strong candidate experiences are key components to this position. This role supports and contributes to Bassett’s overall nursing staff model to provide safe and quality care to our patients. This role reports to the Director, Nursing Recruitment and will partner directly with the HR Talent Acquisition team, the Marketing department, nursing leaders, nursing schools, and other community outreach program points of contact. This is a hybrid position and will be asked to be onsite at one of the Hospitals in our Network 1-2 days a week. Serves as a point of contact for nursing hiring managers on recruitment needs. Presents in a professional manner while representing Bassett Healthcare Network and serves as the candidate’s primary point of contact during the recruitment processes. Partners with nursing hiring managers to determine staffing needs, position requirements, recruitment strategies, candidate sources, and resume reviews. Conducts application screenings and screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications and interests to determine next steps in the recruitment process. Participates in and supports recruitment events and other outreach opportunities while partnering with Human Resources (HR). Including, college recruiting, virtual career fairs, community organization events, etc. Collaborates with Marketing to assess, evaluate, create, and execute strategies to attract top nursing talent. Works in partnership with compensation team to determine fair, competitive, and equitable job offers. Analyzes recruitment efforts regularly to ensure industry best practice utilization, efficient practices to hiring and onboarding, strong time-to-hire and time-to-fill outcomes, and a robust candidate pipeline. Navigating and maintaining an updated Applicant Tracking System, and other systems to ensure current and real time candidate or other key information. Co-facilitates new nursing leader training on nursing recruitment and talent acquisition processes. Captures and provides monthly nursing recruitment activity and performance metrics. Partners with nursing leadership and HR’s Talent Acquisition (TA) team on escalations and issue resolution. Partners with sourcing team to understand and guide recruitment activities, on a regular basis. Leads and partners with TA team to ensure smooth and expeditious new hire experience from time of offer to start date. Partners and assists with HRs Immigration Manager and team to ensure awareness and coordination to nursing leaders of this population. Proposes updates to management regarding policies and procedures as necessary to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, and industry best practices. Other duties as assigned. The Talent Acquisition Partner position has three levels, which is determined based on previous Talent Acquisition and/or Recruiting experience. Salary ranges for each level are: Level I: $67,887.45 - $101,831.18 Level II: $73,483.56 - $110,225.34 What we need from you Education: 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required. Experience may be substituted for a degree. Experience: At least 2 years of Talent Acquisition and/or Recruiting experience required. Required experience varies based on the level. 1 year of Healthcare experience preferred Preferred experience recruiting for hard to fill positions, process improvement, analyzing metrics, strong customer service and communication skills.
