About Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Transplant Bone Marrow 36 hours Midnights

  Opportunity to join an exceptional health care team and to utilize your strong clinical skills to expand your knowledge and expertise.

  Position is a hospitalist model specific for stem cell and chemo patients.

  There is an outpatient component in the mode of video/telephone visits prepping patients for admission.

  Weekend schedule is every third weekend

  Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care.

  Takes patient history, performs physical examination, orders, and interprets tests, makes diagnoses, and institutes appropriate treatment programs.

  Works in collaboration with staff physicians, house officers, nurses, and other medical care team members to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.

  Specific procedures are individually credentialed as indicated by training and experience.

  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  Master's degree in nursing. Certified Nurse Practitioner. Licensed as a Registered Nurse -OR- Requires a Bachelor's Degree; completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant or Surgeon's Assistant program; Michigan state licensure and continued certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA C)

  Current BLS or ACLS as required. Current ATLS/PALS provider status as required by department.

  Hematology, Oncology, ED or ICU experience is a plus!
