Nurse Coordinator

　　Actalent is looking for a Nurse Coordinator to support our client supporting a lymphoma and hematologu group. This position is on site working 4x10 schedule.

　　Description:

　　The Nurse Coordinator is supporting the Lymphoma and Hematology group. The Clinic is open 4 days out of the week. Monday and Wednesday are used as time for the physicians to come in and treat patients; the Nurse Coordinator during this time is educating patients on treatments, advocating for patients on their behalf, and applying appropriate nursing interventions when needed. Tuesday and Friday are used as admin days for Nurse Coordinators to review and check patients care plans and ensure the proper care was delivered efficiently.

　　Collaborates with inpatient and other clinic staff to develop informational/educational materials appropriate for the patient population. Assesses learning needs of patient populations and develops curriculum/content accordingly. Interacts with patients during face-to-face encounters or through a variety of telecommunication strategies in the virtual environment, often establishing long-term relationships.
