This accelerated development program will take you from recent graduate to sales professional in one year, providing training and skills development to help you build a successful career at Arrow.

  This unique program blends on-the-job training with a structured professional development curriculum, allowing you to learn sales skills as part of a selling organization while participating in a targeted development program that will advance your professional soft skills and business acumen!!

Arrow brings technology solutions to a breadth of markets, including telecommunications, information systems, transportation, medical, industrial, and consumer electronics. We serve as a supply channel partner for over 100,000 original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and commercial customers through a global network.

  The required start date for this program is January 8, 2024!!

  What You'll Be Doing:

  Your primary responsibilities will include:

  Researching prospective clientsResearching client and company background through websites and social-networking sitesMaintaining competitive knowledge on service offerings, industries and products to leverage in lead generation and researchConnecting with prospects via phone, email, and social media, and build funnel of sales accepted leads (SAL)Maintaining MIS metrics to meet activity goals (cold calls, leads, proposals)Engaging and building a strong customer relationship by engaging in meaningful dialogueCommunicating with various internal stakeholders on the next steps to address qualified leadsCreating a great first impression to move forward in the Sales cycle

  What You Should Expect:

  On-the-Job Training: Gain real-world experience as a sales professional integrated into an Arrow team, developing selling expertise, and learning industry best practices in account management, business development, technical support, strategic focus, customer centricity, and analytical skills. Professional Development: Develop professional soft skills to propel your career, including creating your brand, business etiquette, personal and organizational effectiveness, conflict management, emotional intelligence, and influencing.Industry Insights: Learn from Arrow experts across our business units on topics such as business strategy, market climate, engaging customers, partnering with suppliers, and selling solutions and services.

  The position has a fixed base salary plus a generous incentive program with a guarantee. The On-Target Earnings for this position in the Peabody, MA office is $70,400 annually.

  What We Are Looking For:

  To be eligible, you must have completed Bachelor's Degree between December 2021 and December 2023. Business-fluent English (oral & written) Driven self-starters with a strong desire for a career in sales with a Fortune 109 companyAble to build influential relationships, passionate about helping others, curious about technology, and savvy with systems (MS Office Suite)Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with customers effectively.Active Listener: The ability to understand customer needs by actively listening and asking relevant questions.Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to build relationships and retain clients.Time Management: Efficiently managing your time to meet sales targets and deadlinesCommitment: We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to growing with our organization and able to commit to the required training scheduleResilience: The capacity to handle rejection and bounce back from setbacksProblem-Solving: Being able to identify and address customer concerns or objectionsAdaptability: Adjusting sales strategies to different customer profiles and market conditionsTeamwork: Collaborating with colleagues and other departments for successful sales outcomesSelf-Motivation: The drive to meet and exceed sales targets and quotasOrganization: Keeping track of customer information, leads, and sales progressComputer Skills: Proficiency in using office software

  New hires are expected to be in person for the initial 8-12 weeks of onboarding; once this period is completed, employee will then move to hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)

  Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
