Job Summary: TheNew Dealer Specialist is responsible for creating a successful Generacdealer base by increasing second order revenue and nurturing new dealersthrough the new dealer orientation process. The focus is to grow aportfolio of repeat customers and support the new dealer process betweenDealer Acquisition and Inside Sales. Essential Duties: Onboard newdealers, ensuring they are familiar with tools and resources availableto them. Engage, develop, and nurture relationships with new dealers viaphone and by email. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of dealer programsalong with the resources available and how dealers can grow theirbusiness with Generac. Help new dealers with goal setting based ongenerator experience and % of business. Promote new partnerparticipation in channel programs Educate dealers on the benefit ofbeing an authorized sales dealer and the benefits of adding service totheir dealership (if not already participating). Answer detailedquestions regarding Generac products and programs. Utilize various salesskills to cross-sell a variety of complex products with ability toexplain the value add of all Generac family products. Successfullytransition new dealers to their Inside Sales Representative at the4-month mark by working with both the dealer and ISR to coordinate.Identify potential reasons for new dealers not placing a second orderand communicate strategic plan for when ISR takes over relationship. Addconcise notes in CRM to document conversations and progress with newdealer partners. Employ field sales team as needed to aid in the growthand development of new accounts. Minimum Qualifications: High SchoolDiploma or equivalent 2 years of sales or customer service experiencePreferred Qualifications: Associate\'s Degree Previous experience usingSAP or equivalent ERP.
