　　HCA Midwest Health seeks neurohospitalists to join a vendor-based, exclusively inpatient-focused, practice as part of a market-based group. Neurohospitalists will be anchored in Independence, MO.

　　Qualified Candidates:

　　Physicians will be based in Independence supporting Centerpoint Medical Center's inpatient service

　　Vascular/stroke fellowship trained or experienced neurohospitalist physicians preferred

　　100% inpatient role

　　Flexible scheduling; option for 7 on 7 off schedule or 180 shifts annually

　　Achieved TJC Certified Primary Stroke Center, seeing over 1,000 patients a year

　　Awarded American Heart Association Get With the Guidelines top award achiever: 2023 Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll

　　HCA Midwest Health Neurosciences Service Line is comprised of 13 neurologists with expertise in movement disorder, clinical neurophysiology, multiple sclerosis, and migraine subspecialties. The neurologists are vital to our care delivery team, focused on the inpatient and outpatient settings, further enhanced by 6+ advanced practice providers and a team of stroke coordinators. The service line also includes 14 neurosurgeons with a variety of subspecialty interests within the context of a general neurosurgery practice.

　　Our program includes one comprehensive stroke center with four primary stroke centers positioned across the South Kansas City corridor.
