Description The ideal candidate for the Network and Voice Engineer position will possess extensive knowledge about data networks and voice communication systems. Your key responsibility will be to ensure the efficient, seamless, and secure functioning of all our network and voice systems. Responsibilities: Configure, install, and support data and voice network equipment. Monitor, identify, and rectify data and voice network-related issues. Create and design specifications for communication systems and design solutions. Evaluate, test, and troubleshoot HW/SW network devices and systems through diagnostic techniques. Monitor voice and data performance and take necessary actions to optimize or correct issues. Serve as a prime contact on system failures and enact troubleshooting procedures to restore functionality. Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve voice and network issues. Document network problems and resolutions for future reference. Conduct regular reviews and audits of systems and software. Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for solving complex technical issues. Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. detail oriented certification, such as Network+, CCNA, or CCNP. Proven work experience as a network and voice engineer or a similar role in an IT setting. Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure, IP addressing, and network protocols. Extensive background in managing VoIP, LAN/WAN, and firewall security. Solid understanding of communication protocols (SIP) and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS). Good written and verbal communication skills.
