Responsibilities

　　Configure multi-vendor equipment. Vendors include but not limited to Juniper, Nokia, RAD, Cisco, Fujitsu, Infinera, and Calix equipment.

　　Troubleshoot network issues involving multiple vendors.

　　Work with multi-vendor TAC (Juniper TAC, Cisco TAC, Nokia TAC, Calix TAC) to resolve hardware/software issues.

　　Escalation point for Fujitsu NOC front line serving multiple customers and vendor types.

　　Work with external customers on different occasions involving device turn-ups, circuit creation and network escalations issues.

　　Create Method of Procedure and test procedures in lab based on hardware/software needs.

　　Required Candidate Skills and Experience

　　Hands on knowledge in IP networking technologies: subnets, protocols including OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS

　　Expertise in multi-vendor platform configurations and troubleshooting including Nokia, Juniper, Cisco, Calix, and Fujitsu equipment.

　　Good understanding of networking protocols involving Layer 3 routing and Layer 2 switching using different protocols like OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, and BGP.

　　Hands on working knowledge of Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Calix, and preferably have some transport knowledge with similar vendor products.

　　Ability to work in a dynamic and time sensitive environment meeting customers' SLA.

　　Experience with any of the following optical equipment is a huge plus: Infinera, Adva, Ciena, Cisco, and Fujitsu. Overall, any vendor experience with optical equipment is desirable.

　　Experience with automation and scripting using Perl/Python languages is huge plus and highly desirable.

　　Additional Requirements

　　BS Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience desirable.

　　5+ years in IP networking, Network Operation and troubleshooting.

　　Nokia, Juniper, or Cisco certifications is desirable.

　　Working knowledge of IPV6 is a plus.

　　Experience in resolving critical network issues as an individual and in a team environment is desirable.
