Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking a Network & Security Operations Manager who will provide leadership and be responsible for Network and Security Operations team. This position will have responsibility for architecting, planning, and executing the technical projects and services that ensure the security of the credit union. In coordination with IT Manager Leadership, the Network & Security Operations Manager delivers technical solutions that support projects and initiatives to improve the security of the environment. This position will report on the cybersecurity program, material cybersecurity risks, projects, and Objectives and Key Results including Key Performance Indicators of the technical security controls. Essential Functions:
Design, build, implement and support enterprise-class networks and security centric solutions
Propose technical architectures and solutions that enable business needs, leverage existing technologies, thoughtfully introduce innovative technologies, and enable security
Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
Plan, research, and design robust security architectures for any IT project
Perform or supervise vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments
Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cybersecurity requirements
Create documentation and train security operations staff on how to operate and maintain the systems
Respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide thorough remedial solutions and analysis
Regularly communicate vital information, security needs, and priorities to upper management
Ensure strategic alignment of technical solutions to Summit's organizational goals
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent years of experience in the industry
5 years of progressive experience in a medium to large network environment
Demonstrated strong technical acumen through technical certification such as GIAC GSEC, GIAC GCIH, ISC2 CISSP, or other equivalent security related certifications
Directly related experience with data network security development in a commercial environment
Proven experience with identity and access management
Familiarity with financial operations and financial industry
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, programs, and or projects
Professional well developed interpersonal skills essential for effective interactions with all levels of credit union staff under normal and adverse circumstances
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and projects with resources from within and outside department
Requires detailed, team-oriented working style with the ability to apply critical thinking to resolve problems in new situations
Understanding of network security systems including enterprise patching, anti-virus, IDS/IPS, firewalls, monitoring solutions, content filtering, port scanners, sniffers, DLP, NAC and other network utilities
Experience performing server support, including Windows, Linux/Unix, SQL or another database and Microsoft Exchange Server
Experience with network-based applications including backup, Active Directory, and network management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
