Job Title: Network Engineer II (DOCSIS)
Location: Englewood, CO
Pay Range: $40 to $50 an hour

What’s the Job?
The client is looking for someone who understands networking. They can teach this person everything else but they need to have that networking background. They will teach the CMTS, DOCSIS, and R-PHY. If they have a background in testing CPE equipment that is a big plus as well.
Team Responsibilities:
The team tests all the CPE gear that they have. This includes all of the routers that you put into your house. They test and certify all of the firmware for the devices. They get to work on new technologies like R-PHY and have a goal of moving their equipment out of the hub and closer to peoples homes. They do some parametric testing as well as testing how hot their devices can be as well as how cold they can be without breaking.
