  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer II to join our team in Lancaster, CA.

  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  The Network Engineer II plans, designs, and maintains connectivity for enterprise network assets to ensure compliance and secure operations on Classified networks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS).

  They perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of network switches to ensure optimal performance.

  They configure, maintain, and monitor firewall, intrusion protection, and intrusion detection systems for network access control and authentication in accordance with ATO requirements, cybersecurity policies, and standards.

  The Network Engineer II implements the necessary security measures to protect specialized systems and networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats and supports the planning and implementation of enterprise service connections among networks, systems, and applications across domains.

  They facilitate connections for auditing, authentication, secure cloud computing architecture (SCCA), and Cross Domain Solutions and Guards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards and collaborate with ISSOs and the ISSM in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.

  They provide inputs and documentation using designated templates and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, InfoPath, Visio, etc.) to support the security assessment and authorization of TAC systems.

  They effectively communicate and collaborate on requirements and concepts for network-related activities to the Chief Engineer and key stakeholders and are familiar with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems and with the ITIL Framework and service delivery concepts.

  They work across multiple teams, collaborating effectively to reach resolution of issues, alerts, and customer tickets, and verify and close tickets once an incident has been confirmed resolved.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in an IT- related discipline and at least two (2) years of position specific relevant experience

  DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level-II Certification required

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Master's degree in an IT-related discipline.Security Clearance Requirement:

  Must have a current/ active Secret Clearance.

  Must be a United States Citizen

  Physical Requirement:

  Must be able to be in a stationary position for more than 50% of the time.

  Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  The projected compensation range for this position is $79,300-$133,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
