Our client, a dynamic and innovative company, is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a specialization in Cisco appliances and technologies to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the technological backbone of a prominent industry player.
Responsibilities:
Cisco Network Infrastructure:
Architect, design, implement, and manage Cisco-based network infrastructure.
Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance.
Network Security:
Implement and manage Cisco security solutions, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Voice and Collaboration:
Administer Cisco Unified Communications solutions, including VoIP technologies.
Collaborate with teams to optimize voice and collaboration systems for effective communication.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Diagnose and resolve network issues related to Cisco technologies promptly.
Provide Tier 3 support for complex network problems.
Monitoring and Optimization:
Implement network monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of Cisco devices.
Optimize network configurations for efficiency and scalability.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of Cisco configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Create and update network documentation as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Network Engineer with specialized expertise in Cisco appliances and technologies.
Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
Proficient in configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances.
Experience with Cisco Unified Communications and VoIP technologies.
Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and routing protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
