As a Senior Pricing Analyst, for Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU), at Micron Technology, Inc, your primary responsibilities will be driving price optimization across a range of products into compute and networking segments and customers!
You will be responsible for building price negotiation strategies and analyzing pricing data to facilitate executive decision. Under the CNBU Pricing team, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, CNBU Marketing, Business and Sales Operations and Product Management teams.
Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to!
We ensure necessary pricing controls and monitors to enable and drive optimum pricing performance to meet business objectives
We develop, evaluate, implement, and monitor pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics
Ability to effectively communicate proposals and negotiation options at all management levels
Apply value based selling techniques in preparing sales for negotiations
Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis. Close interaction with Sales before, during and after the negotiation
Close collaboration with business partners to find opportunities for price optimization
Own and manage product level ASP projections at segment/customer level for short term and long-term business planning process
Own the CNBU segment budgetary pricing forecast process, both short term and long-term pricing trends, by working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other BUs
Build/administer pricing databases and coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across the organization
Active engagement in driving tool requirements, providing input and testing
Minimum Qualification
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics
2-year experience in similar or related field with a good understanding of product, pricing, marketing and sales functionalities
Demonstrated problem solving skill with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
Ability to work in team environment and maintain good relationships with team members
Strong analytic skills and detail oriented; works with a sense of urgency
High skill level in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualification
MBA or graduate degree in in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics
5-year work experience in related field such as sales and marketing, and have good exposure to pricing decisions
Excellent project management skills and ability to balance multiple tasks
Proven track record to influence and challenge outcomes to get results
Experience working with or in support of global teams
Proficient in Tableau and/or Power BI related applications
