Candidatewill work as nail tech assistant until licensure. Assistant will cleanand sanitize manicure and pedicure stations, maintain supplies, washtowels, provide clients with refreshments, assist technicians withsupplies such as locating polish, gems, stickers, stamps. Upon receiptof state licensure, candidate will provide services such as removepolish, shape and smooth nails, clean nails, trim cuticles, apply newpolish, apply artificial nails, paint designs. Must complete NailTechnology or Cosmetology training program or apprenticeship. Months oftraining do not matter as long as applicant completes program asprograms vary by state.
