  Reference #: oTjfqfwB_f5fefa9a54DescriptionBuild your Career with an Industry LeaderMCC is looking for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join the Lafayette Hill, PA team.In this role, you will conduct machine troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services.Work also involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks as assigned, including facilities maintenance.Why work at MCC:Compensation: Starting at $35.00 hourly, compensation will be commensurate with skillsGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Year, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating HolidaysOther Benefits: climate-controlled facility, career advancement opportunities, tuition reimbursement, etc.Responsibilities:Must work according to the requirements for ISO9001, ISO14001, BRC Packaging and FDAProvide maintenance support for pre-press, printing, finishing, and logistics equipment.Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machines in a printing production environment.Ensure smooth production through good maintenance management (preventive, adaptive, and corrective).Solve facility-related problems.Manage spare parts inventory using the Kanban system.Assist other Technicians in the repair and maintenance of the printing press and finishing equipment safely.Complete PMs on their regularly scheduled interval.Provide a timely, practical, and professional response to work orders, including the ability to communicate with press operators to understand and diagnose equipment issues.Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on-time completion of assigned activities.Diagnose and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings. (Blueprints and schematics).Can use test equipment (multi-meter, laptop, micrometers, calipers, infrared guns, etc.) to aid in troubleshooting equipment problems.Have a general knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Can troubleshoot PLCs and their inputs/outputs.Programming of PLCs is not required.Lubricate and clean machinery and support equipment to maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards throughout the plant.Maintains good 5S housekeeping in the work area and maintenance shop.Be able to coach press operators and machine runnerspositively on the proper way to operate equipment.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Strong problem-solving skills to assess machine deficiencies and execute solutions.Must have the ability to multi-task and to identify and execute process improvements as needed.Three or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications.Understand Risk and Safety and Hazard and precaution Statements.Ability to work overtime when required along with regular, predictable attendance.Ability to read electrical schematics.Vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.Knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo motors, servo drives, and controls.Comfort working with 480volts or less.Strong mechanical aptitude.General skills relating to the use of shop equipment such as drill presses, power tools, mills, and lathes.Electro-mechanical studies are strongly preferred but not necessary.Proficient knowledge of computers and their operating systems (Windows, Microsoft suite, etc.).Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull, and use hands and fingers to feel and handle materials/tools for extended time frames.Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.
