　　Our team is a global team that operates database services in different divisions of Continental worldwide. As DevOps DBA, you will be responsible for the operations and the development of database solution based on the business requirement with the governance of Security & Compliance office.

　　Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

　　Operations of managed database services globally who collaborates with the internal and external Service Providers for attending ITSM and for the immediate solution and completion of assigned Incident/Change tasks.

　　Subject Matter Expert who performs analysis, troubleshooting and consultation for complex tasks.

　　Contributes on business continuity by taking part of the follow-the-sun approach and On-call duty.

　　Ensure managed databases are secured, highly available and with acceptable performance based on the agreed SLA and standard solution.

　　Conceptualize, implement and validate technical solutions for database systems in different platforms (On-premise or cloud)

　　Ensure Operational Handbook and documentations are up to date based on the approved changes.

　　Close interaction with other services to harmonize and improve inter-connected solutions/processes.

　　Research and development of new solutions for business demands based on the latest technology and company's IT strategy.

　　Develops and automate solution or process for service improvements.

　　Conduct trainings to share knowledge with teams relating to area of specialization.

　　To be effective in this role, the candidate should possess a combination of technical skills and service management. Must have a solid foundation in database administration, security practices, and DevOps methodologies.

　　Skills:

　　Database administration proficiency in managing and optimizing various database systems.

　　Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, performance tuning and monitoring

　　Strong command of SQL and Oracle tools

　　Knowledge with Infrastructure architecture such as HW, Windows Server and Storage

　　ITSM and Agile Skills

　　Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, IaaC, and version control systems

　　Scripting skills to automate security tasks and create custom tools

　　Collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are vital for success.

　　Education and Experience:

　　Bachelor or master’s degree in IT (Information Technology) or related field

　　Minimum of five years experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field

　　Extensive experience with MS SQL database technologies in different environments and/or database Oracle technologies in different environments (ODA, RAC, Data guard)

　　Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
