Responsibilities Responsible for performance of all patient MRI imaging procedures and all patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customer accounts in the successful accomplishments of their imaging needs. We invite and encourage each candidate to discuss salary / hourly specifics during the application and hiring process. The compensation range for the role is $44.44 - $52.26 hourly. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). Qualifications Minimum Education: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Minimum Experience: Two years MRI experience desirable Required Certification/Registration: Required Licensed in Radiologic Technology by New York State. Required ARRT-RT and active enrollment in a MRI training program inclusive of didactic and clinical rotations with ARRT MR Registry (ARRT-MR) within 18 months of hire (MRI Registry, ARRT-MR preferable). NYS DOH Injection license preferred, required within 90 days from date of hire. Must have active and ongoing BLS Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is also frequently required to talk and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions: Environmental Demands and Exposure to Hazards: Works inside. Can be exposed to disagreeable odors, and infection. Contact with patients, physicians, department employees, and hospital departments, such as nursing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Physical Demands: Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks. Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment. Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Mental Demands: Ability to foster collaborative relationships, to work well under pressure, to organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks. Possesses critical thinking, analytical skills and flexibility. Ability to multi-task. Required detailed attention to work in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled. Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations. May be subject to irregular hours including evenings or potentially weekends to participate in operational and community events as necessary.
