Position begins when we open for the season Overview of Position:Catamount Ambassadors assist the guests in any way possible. They arestationed throughout the ski area and are ready to take action to ensureguest satisfaction. Job Qualifications: - Must be very flexible & beable to deal with guests and employees in a friendly and helpfulmanner. - Must be able to write legibly and to use good composition tocomplete necessary paperwork. - Must be willing to learn and adapt tochange. - Must have full knowledge of prices, programs, scheduledevents, reports etc. and where to find them. - Must be open-minded &helpful. - Must possess good communication skills for disseminatinginformation to guests. - Must be able to stand for scheduled shifts andoutside in winter conditions for several hours. - Must be able to handlepeople milling about you. - Must maintain a clean and professionalappearance. This involvesapproaching guest, inquiring if they have any questions and being ableto respond professionally. - Remain at assigned location untilreplacement arrives. - Distribute trail and snow reports to alldesignated locations. - Assist with guest attending races, promotionalevents and other special events as needed. - Assist with maintaining aneat lodge and grounds. - Assist in the parking and/or group busloading/unloading processes Work Schedule and Conditions: Beprepared to step up and take charge of guest concerns - do not passproblems to others. The phase \"I Don\'t Know\" Does Not Exist withCatamount Ambassadors. If you don\'t know use the phrase: \"Let me findout for you.\" We are in the business of providing a quality product andexperience for our guests. Traditionally our busy periods are duringweekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work.Providing a solid availability calendar and attending all scheduled daysto meet program requirements is paramount. Dress Code: - Name Tagmust always be worn - no exceptions. - Must be neat and clean - overallapproachable appearance. - Catamount Ambassadors will be provided withuniforms suitable for both indoor and outdoor work and uniforms must beworn during scheduled shifts.
