Description

We are in search of a Motion Graphic Designer/Video Editor to join our client's team based in Washington, District of Columbia. The role focuses on creating engaging visual content for a diverse range of media platforms. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity, where you will be instrumental in creating animations, editing videos, and enhancing brand awareness through your creative skills.

Responsibilities:

Create and edit motion graphics and videos for various platforms using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other relevant software.

Collaborate with the team to produce visually compelling content for advertisements, brochures, banner ads, and trade show conference visuals.

Ensure all designs align with the company's brand image and guidelines.

Work closely with different teams to understand project scope and objectives, and meet deadlines efficiently.

Design and animate high-end motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, eLearning, websites, marketing demos, etc.).

Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.

Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and processing of paperwork related to your role.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest graphic design techniques.

Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and design standards.

Requirements

Experience working with stage or stadium graphics, or potentially even TV or streaming overlays is a strong plus.

Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.

Demonstrated ability to create engaging animations.

Experience in designing and producing advertisements.

Skilled in creating banner ads for digital platforms.

Proven track record in enhancing brand awareness through effective visual content.

Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is desirable.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.

Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met.

Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and receive feedback.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.

Open to continuous learning and adapting to new techniques in motion graphics and video editing.
