　　D.R. Horton, Inc.is currently looking for an *Mortgage Loan Originator* in the Branch Department. The right candidate will oversee business development, the origination of loans, and relationship management with customers and clients.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

　　Interview mortgage applicants to understand and educate them on their available financing options. Understand the loan applicant’s goals in order to advise and review potential loan programs that would best suit their needs and stated goalsBe accessible to the buyer and individuals involved in a loan to answer questions and/or provide updatesMaintain reports and notes within the origination software and customer relationship management systemsReview new leads daily and contact them to earn their businessDaily Pipeline Management (loan application to funding process) to ensure that the loan process goes smoothly for all parties involvedMake presentations on loan products in sales meetings and with Sales staff in builder communitiesQuickly respond to Operations in order to facilitate an efficient loan processProvide necessary disclosures to a loan applicant within a timely manner in accordance with regulationsMarket the company’s products and services accurately and effectively to potential business sourcesDevelop sales leads for mortgages in builder communities and real estate officesProvide weekend coverage in builder communities and grand opening functionsReview all documentation provided by the borrower, check for accuracy, and address any discrepanciesBe familiar and comply with all company QC policies, review updates to the manual, and attend meetings as necessaryProvide input to management, and attend production/staff meetingsInfrequently, assist in resolving post-closing/funding problemsAttend loan closings when possibleConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companySalary Range-$32,240 base plus commissionEducation and/or Experience

　　Bachelor's degree from four-year college or universityOne to two years of related experience and/or trainingMust have a vehicle and a valid driver’s licenseLicensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by statePossess general mortgage banking understanding (including but not limited to: lock procedures, program analysis, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory timelines)Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailPreferred Qualifications
