The Montgomery County Hospital Collaborative is seeking a part-time (10-15 hours per week) Masters or Doctoral-level intern to assist with identifying common evaluation metrics for the shared community health needs assessment initiatives among participating hospitals. Additionally, this position will assist with conducting an analysis of the identified common metrics and designing a comprehensive data visualization to demonstrate collective impact across Montgomery County.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for addressing health disparities through collective action and a keen ability to synthesize health assessment data from multiple partners. They will be committed to getting results in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing input or quality, and have the resilience to navigate setbacks with an eye toward new opportunities. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to work with partners from multiple organizations and to foster collaboration (even when there are competing interests).
What You’ll Do
The Evaluation Intern, who is based virtually, is responsible for the following:
● Identifying common programming across the MCHC related to the nine identified health factors for unmet needs in the county.
● Assisting in finding common evaluation metrics across the shared programming of the participating hospitals.
● Conducting an analysis of the identified common metrics.
● Designing a comprehensive data visualization to demonstrate collective impact across Montgomery County.
