　　General Summary:

　　Job function: Modem power SW team owns a software module that operates the qualcomm chipset effeciently to optimize the battery life.

　　The prime responsibility of the candidate is to design, develop and integrate the new requirements for modem power SW, System analysis to identify area's of optimizations.

　　Candidates Must Have Great Interest In New Technologies and Willing to Learn. Qualcomm is taking it's traditional strengths in Digital Wireless Technologies & extending it in exciting new fields where we design and build systems for new technologies.

　　The candidate will also be responsible for Design and development of Applications on Linux Operating Systems with hands-on experience on Linux platform.

　　Debug and identify the root cause for any critical system issue like crash, system lock, abnormal reset etc. on the Qualcomm Linux platforms. Performance analysis various KPIs (boot, CPU) across various sub system

　　Skills/experience::

　　1 - 4 years of experience in :

　　a) Strong C, C++, Data Structures and Object Oriented programming skills.

　　b) Design and development of Linux applications

　　c) Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills with focus on system level debugging with JTAG Trace 32

　　d) Strong experience on performance analysis of boot, CPU across the sub system and providing the solution.

　　e) Experience with ARM processors and assembly programming is a plus

　　f) Strong communication skills (written and verbal), working with teams across multiple time zones/technologies

　　Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in ECE, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2-5 years of Software Engineering or related work experience. - Mtech in communications systems /computer science with 0-2 year experience

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

　　OR

　　Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

　　OR

　　PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

　　• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
