Modeling and Simulation Engineer

　　Overview

　　Responsibilities

　　Provide Modeling and Simulation Engineering support to a diverse team of engineers working in a digital simulation lab environment.

　　Provide radar algorithm development, Missile sensor and performance analyses and maintain lab infrastructure.

　　Ability to develop, troubleshoot, modify, maintain and operate a radar simulation software that generates physics-based scenes used to simulate missile sensors and environments.

　　Provide proactive support to the Government customer and tasks.

　　Frequent interaction with government, SETA, and external stakeholders.

　　Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

　　Bachelor of Science degree required in a STEM discipline, from an accredited institution required.

　　3-5 years of demonstrated, applicable experience required.

　　Ability to obtain and maintain Linux+ and Sec+ certifications are required. Candidates who currently possess, considered a plus.

　　Demonstrated proficiency and understanding across a variety of languages to include: C/C++, Python and MATLAB.

　　U.S. Citizenship with active Secret Security clearance and ability to maintain the designated security clearance level is required.

　　Physical Description

　　Employees in these positions will function in a general office/cubicle setting environment, laboratory/testing setting using standard office equipment and various electronic testing equipment, including a computer, telephone, printers, video equipment, computer software and testing equipment. Will interact in a general office setting environment with various personnel; participate in meetings and contribute to team success; deliver timely results and produce reports; receive and communicate information; may include telework. May function in a laboratory/testing environment using electronic testing equipment, computer software and complex systems. May move and test equipment of various weights. Laboratory environment may require use of protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to safety glasses and protective hearing and footwear. May be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization due to business demands; travel occasionally for assigned work.
