The Boeing Company is looking for Mission Operations Specialists to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. In joining Boeing, you will be part of an outstanding team supporting the Commercial Derivative Airplane portfolios within our flight test engineering teams. The ideal candidate should work well under pressure, have excellent communication skills, leadership, interpersonal, organizational skills, and be detail oriented.
This position will require 20% travel to our Boeing sites to support program objectives.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Level Mission Operations Specialists.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides expertise to plan and execute mission operations for command, control, communications, computing, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems.
Assists in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods
Develops test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk
Provides guidance on the configuration of operational system and advises management on system and subsystem performance.
Identifies solutions to basic problems and supports the development of metrology processes, methods, and tools
Supports development of test debrief material
Participates in evaluation of test performance data
Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
Prepares test reports for review
Works under general direction supervision
Additional Senior (level 4) Responsibilities:
Leads and executes the control and coordination of distributed resources and ground assets to support mission operations.
Trains others
Works under minimal direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
4+ years of experience in Aviation or Aerospace
Experience in lab test, flight test, or systems test
Willing to travel 20% of the time or more as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active Secret or higher U.S. Security Clearance
5 or more years' related work experience in lab test, flight test, or systems test
Experience working DoD Aircraft Systems
Bachelor’s Degree in accredited course of study
Typical Education/Experience:
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Senior (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for mid-level: $66,300 – $89,700
Summary pay range for senior level: $85,000 – $115,000
