　　Position Title:

　　Millwright OR Pipefitter Maintenance Mechanic

　　Pay Rate :

　　$35.36 per hour

　　New hires are eligible for $2,500 Sign-on Bonus AND Up to $5,000 Relocation Bonus (if applicable) *

　　Must be new hires to International Paper after 10/13/2021 and must have not been employed by another International Paper location in the previous three (3) months

　　Up to $5,000 in relocation assistance will be available for new hires that relocate more than 75 miles from the Savannah Mill

　　The Job You Will Perform:

　　As a Millwright OR Pipefitter Maintenance Mechanic duties include, but are not restricted to, replacing valves & gaskets, basic welding, repacking pumps & valves, forklift operations, screwed pipe & tubing installations, cylinder repair, pump repair & replacement, repair of rotating assemblies, roll repair and replacements, motor replacements, and repair of mechanical drive systems.

　　The Skills You Will Bring:

　　At least 18 years of age

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Two-year Associate Degree in a related field or a registered apprenticeship or similar formal training is required or equivalent work experience

　　Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a pipefitter in an industrial environment OR must have three (3) years verifiable field experience as a millwright journeyman

　　Previous multi-skilled maintenance experience

　　Must possess high standards in the areas of safety, quality, ethics, craftsmanship, customer focus, and leadership skills

　　Knowledge of mechanical drives, pumps, seals, lubrication and hydraulics OR piping layout and installation experience

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Three years of mechanical maintenance in pulp and paper industry

　　Welding experience: stick, mig, tig, certified

　　Machine shop skills ex. Lathes, boring, balancing, CNC, etc.

　　Previous multi-skilled maintenance experience

　　PLUS: Must be willing to meet the following requirements:

　　Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment

　　Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment.

　　Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule

　　Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification

　　Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis

　　Wear required safety equipment

　　Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection)

　　Participate on the HEAT team (in house emergency response team)
