Job Description:
We are currently seeking skilled MIG Welders to join our team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding of stainless steel to fabricate frames for agricultural machines. This includes placing parts into jigs and performing MIG welding of various components. Additionally, you will be responsible for spot checking your own weld beads to ensure quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding of stainless steel to fabricate frames for agricultural machines
Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery
Place parts into jigs and fixtures for welding
Follow welding procedures and guidelines to ensure quality and precision
Conduct spot checks of weld beads to ensure they meet specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of MIG welding experience
Proficiency in MIG welding techniques, particularly with stainless steel
Ability to read and work off blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
Knowledge of welding equipment and machinery setup and operation
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
Adherence to safety procedures and regulations
